About Ruaille Buaille
Ruaille Buaille is a children's music festival taking place in Lucan from Wednesday 7th June until Saturday 10th June. We have an exciting programme of music workshops, performances and outdoor events, suitable for children of all ages. Ruaille Buaille 2017 is the perfect environment for children and their families to celebrate making and experiencing music, and with over 40 events taking place there is something for everyone to look forward to this year.
This year Ruaille Buaille at Griffeen Park returns with the festival Big Tent with programme highlights, Lisa Lambe, The Henry Girls, Nico Brown and his Instant Orchestra, Lucan Gospel Choir, Mobile Music Machine and The Jim Jam Jug Band. New for this year is a mini-music marquee with a programme for early years with Eamon Sweeney and the Gregory Walkers, a Music Generation Trad Stage and Percussion under Canvas with Brian Fleming and the Indigenous People. As well as an array of great performances in the four spaces there will be plenty happening in the park including face-painting, circus performers, pop-up shows and food stalls. So, bring a picnic and enjoy a great musical family day out!
Since its inception in 2008, Ruaille Buaille has provided an environment where children of all ages can experience music making and be introduced to many genres and instruments in a fun and informal way. Ruaille Buaille has all the wonderous, magical and imaginative ingredients to spark the creativity of every child.
