Ruaille Buaille Lucan Children's Music Festival
with Lucan Gospel Choir
Call to all youth groups
And Win a recording Contract for a song with the choir!!!!
Lucan gospel Choir are proud to be taking part in Lucan’s Ruaille Buaille Children's Music Festival on Saturday the 10th June at 1.15pm. This will be a unique opportunity for local youth groups to experience stage performance with one of Ireland's leading community Gospel choirs. We already have a number of youth groups on board but if you have a group of young people or just a son or daughter who love to sing give us a call.
How it works:
We will send a learning pack for your group of the gospel songs we are performing (which include happy day, Joyful Joyful, Hallelujah etc.) so you can learn them. You then become a member of the choir to perform a concert as part of the festival. We will also be holding rehearsals in St. Patrick’s Church Esker on Tuesdays at 6.30 to 7.00pm if you want to practice with the choirs Musical Directors.
Festival Day 10th June:
We will have a dress rehearsal on the day of the concert at 1,15 to 1.45 then will perform the concert at 2.00pm with the Lucan Gospel Choir.
Prize of a recording contract for a song with the choir!!!!
www.thepartystudio.ie have offered us an amazing prize. On the day of the performance we will choose an individual we feel shows they have a talent for singing and performance and also who have put in the preparation work for the show. They will be offered an opportunity to record a track with the choir singing the lead solo. This will include a visit to the Partystudio.ie recording studio to record the song.
This is a unique opportunity for any pop star hopeful and we are very excited to be able to offer it to some new talent.
