Barcelona’s favourite jazz family is coming to Ruaille Buaille Lucan Children’s Festival! Lucan, Co. Dublin.

We’re thrilled to welcome to Ireland Joan Pinos & The Apocadixie Six to Ruaille Buaille this June! All the way from Spain, this toe-tapping 6-piece brings the joyous spirit of vintage jazz – straight from the heart of Catalonia to Lucan!

Joan Pinos and The Apocadixie 6 piece band are:

• Roger Pascual – clarinet
• Patricia Pérez – tuba
• Miquel & Bernat – washboard & trombone

A true musical family full of energy, fun, and fabulous sound! Joan is no stranger to the spotlight – he’s a veteran of the Creative Connexions Ireland Festival, Sitges Jazz Festival and a standout on the Catalan jazz scene. The Apocadixie’s have performed at local fiestas from Barcelona to Sitges and Villanova to Tarragona but this is their first time to Ireland and they are super excited!
