Lucan Concert Band was established in 1983 and will be celebrating 40 years of musical entertainment later this year! Over the years the band has become a well-established part of the community, providing entertainment at local and district events including charity fundraisers. At competing levels, the band were fortunate to enjoy great achievements over the years and are multiple time winners at the national band championships. Since September 2022 the band has been under the musical direction of Kenneth Whelan.

Ruaille Buaille is delighted to have Lucan Concert Band take part at this year’s festival. They will perform a mixture of pop, musicals, movie themes, Irish, and some light classical !
