Join this fun, entertaining and educational virtual beatbox and vocal percussion class with renowned singer, poet, rapper, and music teacher Mícheál ‘Moley’ Ó Súilleabháin. This special Ruaille Buaille Festival Online workshop is an ideal introduction to the possibilities and joys of making simple beats with breath and vocal percussion techniques from the Hip Hop tradition, and beyond!

We will even focus very quickly on Irish traditional lilting/mouth music and non verbal singing techniques. This class combines some educational techniques and some fun and virtuosic performances by Mícheál Moley across a range of genres of music. This class will have students smiling from ear to ear while making silly sounds and learning more about their own unique voice. Suitable for all ages and abilities!
